Enrique Amar
Owner · Texas Contractors, Inc.
After serving in the U.S. military, Enrique Amar brought the same discipline, responsibility, and commitment to service into the construction industry. He began his contracting career in fencing in 1987, expanded into roofing in 2005, and incorporated Texas Contractors, Inc. in 2018. With decades of hands-on experience, Enrique leads the company alongside his son, Jacob, and remains personally involved in its work. He believes every customer deserves honest answers, dependable service, quality workmanship, and a contractor who stands behind the job. Outside of work, Enrique enjoys spending time with his family, motorcycle touring, and exploring the open road.
Jacob Amar
Director of Construction · Texas Contractors, Inc.
Jacob Amar grew up around fencing and roofing and has been part of the family business since childhood. Long before he was old enough to work, he was already moving galvanized fence pipe around the yard while his father manufactured chain-link fencing. Jacob later earned a football scholarship to a junior college before continuing his playing career at Texas A&M University–Kingsville, where he graduated with a degree in Range and Wildlife Management. Today, his work as a full-time home builder adds valuable residential construction experience to his continuing role with Texas Contractors. Jacob is a devoted husband and new father who values family, hard work, and treating people right. When he is not working, you will most likely find him fishing—his favorite way to spend his free time.
