Henry Amar started in the fence business in 1987 at 22 years old, right out of the military. Since then, Texas Contractors, Inc. has put up thousands of fences and completed hundreds of roofing projects across the Rio Grande Valley.
In 2004, Henry was recruited to manage a location for one of the largest roofing distributors in the country. That role led to advanced manager training and hands-on product instruction directly from manufacturers, not from picking things up on a job site, but from the people who engineer and certify the materials.
Later, Henry ran the roofing department for one of the largest lumberyards in the nation, working daily with suppliers, materials, and real-world installation standards.
